"What painting is", by James Elkins. NOt an actual manual, but a guide to painting as alchemy. The rest was my previous experience with drawings and digital painting. :)

No es de la mejor calidad la fotografía, pero si de verdad es una pintura, está super chingona. De 10, sobre excelente.
Siéntase un maestro del arte, que hasta la postura es increiblemente buena.

oils tend to have a flat, lifeless appearance. this is not the case. quite captivating. i know how it is struggling through an attempt at oil... fantastic portrait.
